Dr. B.FILLON is currently the Vice President of European Affairs of CEATech for renewable energy (photovoltaic, hydrogen, fuel cells, batteries,...), micro-electronics, digital, industry 4.0, circular economy and materials. He is also the head of the scientific committee of the French polymer cluster Polymeris and the French Plastic institute (IPC); he is scientific advisor of the French Polymer Group (GFP) and of the CRITT MDTS in France. Dr Fillon has made high contributions to both OE-A and LOPEC. Fifteen years ago, he was one of the decision pioneer to set up the OE-A activities in the French Research Institute CEA. He played a significant role in the beginning of OE-A and he pushed the different French industries and research institutes to join OE-A. To accelerate this French involvement, he organized different workshops with the support of OE-A and of the French plastic cluster “Polymeris”. His contributions by forming networks between the industry, research institutes and universities at French level was important in order to increase the OE-A activities at European and National level. As scientific board member in the LOPEC conference, he chaired different scientific sessions. He is involved in different European platforms and associations, and in different expert groups at international and national levels.
