Biografie

Johanna Zikulnig obtained a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Graz University of Technology in 2017. Currently she is doing her PhD at EPFL in Switzerland. After working as a Junior Researcher in the Smart Systems Group at Carinthian Tech Research, she joined the Sensor Applications Group at Silicon Austria Labs, where she is currently working as a Scientist. As part of industrial and funded projects Johanna Zikulnig has been working on the development of flexible, paper-based sensors for the integration into natural fiber reinforced lightweight components. Her scientific interests are on the development of sustainable sensors focusing on printing and hybrid technologies.
