Biografie

Juha Virtanen is Principal Engineer in GE Healthcare, where he works on wearable sensors for monitoring vital signs of hospitalized patients. Juha received his PhD on biomedical engineering from Helsinki University of Technology at late 90’s. His experience is mostly in biomedical instrumentation, including magnetic resonance imaging, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and various physiological measurements. During the years, he has also learned something about brain research, human physiology, IC design, and haptic feedback.
