CTO of Functional and Sensitive Materials at DTx - Digital Transformation Colab
Biografie
Paulo Pedrosa received his M.Sc. from Universidade do Minho, Portugal in 2008 and in 2014 completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Porto, Faculty of Engineering, Portugal. In his PhD, he developed novel concepts of biomedical electrodes to be used in EEG applications. In his post-docs, he developed an innovative EEG hydrogel to replace the commercial gels (patent PCT/IB2017/056012) and a series of plasma processes for surface activation and thin film deposition both at FEMTO-ST Institute, France, and Centre of Physics, Minho University, Portugal. He is specialized in the research and development of plasma processes for the fabrication of nanostructured materials for integration in different sensing applications. Paulo Pedrosa is currently the CTO of the Functional and Sensitive Materials group at DTx: Digital Transformation CoLab where he focuses on Printed Electronics and related technologies (IML, IMD, IME, HPF, etc).
