Biografie
Tutku has got her PhD degree from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia in March 2022. Her PhD work focused on laser-scribed graphene (LSG) based electrochemical sensor integrated to a custom-made, wireless potentiostat with a smartphone app for health monitoring applications. She has successfully developed a smatphone based point of care system for the early diagnosis of breast cancer, cardiovascular disease and COVID-19 diagnosis including variant detection. In addition, She has also worked on environmental applications of LSGs, namely BPA sensing in real water samples. Currently she has been working as a scientist in Silicon Austria Labs (SAL), which is a European research center for electronic based systems linking science and industry, to create the basis for new types of products and processes.
