The work presents a novel design for flexible printed capacitive electrodes based on Kirigami: the developed design improves the flexibility and stretchability of the electrode, without compromising its physical and electrical characteristics.

An analytical model has been formulated and validated to explain in detail the behaviour of the electrode, confirming the effectiveness of the novel design.
