The speech will start with a brief introduction to the phenomenon of electrochromism and the manufacturing and operation of reversible electrochromic (EC) displays. Then, will be presented an innovative irreversible EC display based on the naturally-occurring molecule, capable to have irreversible colour modification upon voltage application.
