Biografie

Mr. Markus Tuomikoski received the M.Sc. degree in inorganic chemistry (Fabrication organic light-emitting devices) from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 2001. He joined the VTT Electronics Manufacturing Technology Group, Oulu, in 2000. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Optical Sciences Center of the University of Arizona in 2003. Currently, he is Research Team Leader in the Research Area of Sensing integration. His current research is focusing on the development of flexible wearables, signage and lighting technologies and new volume fabrication methods. He has collaborated in several EU funded projects, such as OLLA (FP6-2003-IST-004607), ROLLED (FP6-2003-IST-2004315), FACESS (FP7-2007-ICT-1-215217), FLEXIBILITY (FP7-2011-ICT-7-287568), IN-LIGHT (FP7-2012-NMP-314233), PI-SCALE (H2020-2016-ICT-28-688093), SMART2GO (H2020-2018-2-ICT-825143) and MEDPHAB (H2020-2019-ICT-2-825143). He is also certified IPMA-C level project manager.
