Application Session Mobility

For the first time at LOPEC 2025, we are offering half-day application sessions as part of the conference, focusing on Mobility and Smart Living. Therefore, we are offering a half-day ticket to attend the conference. Following the sessions, conference attendees can take part in guided tours of the exhibition.

Established applications for flexible, organic and printed electronics in automobiles include seat occupancy sensors for airbag control, touch surfaces as an alternative to mechanical buttons, and innovative lighting and heating concepts. Flexible and printed electronics are also increasingly being used in areas such as traffic control, mass transit, and avionics.

The topics of the Application Session Mobility in 2025

Mobility Automotive – Mobility Vehicle Technology – Mobility Avionics

  • Consumer Electronics
  • Flexible Displays
  • Lighting systems
  • Sensors
  • User-interfaces (touch, gesture)
  • 3D-structural electronics

At the Application Sessions Mobility, you will hear from leading experts in product development, technology, and research about the mobility solutions available today, the innovative new products being developed, and how flexible and printed electronics can help drive the mobility transformation of the future.

The Presentations from the Application Session Mobility 2025:

  • Raswanth Sendhil Sasikala, Project Manager, OE-A (DE): "Introduction to Flexible and Printed Electronics for Mobility applications"
  • Eisuke Tsuyuzaki, Managing Director, Bayflex Solutions (US): "AI driven reliability process in mobility applications"
  • Dr. Javier Vicente, Post-Doctoral Researcher, BCMaterials - Basque Center on Materials and Nanoestructures (ES): "Screen Printed Thermoformed Electroluminescent Capacitive 3D Interface for In-Mold Electronics Application"
  • Dr. Stephan Harkema, Program Manager, TNO at Holst Centre (NL): "Automotive safety warning system based on sustainable hybrid and printed electronics"
  • Dr. Kimmo Keränen, Senior Scientist, Teknologian Tutkimuskeskus VTT Oy (FI): "Sustainable temperature and pressure sensor implemented on thin and stretchable bio-based substrate for tire application"

Following the presentations, conference attendees can take part in a guided tour of the exhibition, with a focus on Mobility.

The new half-day ticket for the LOPEC Conference entitles you to visit the LOPEC exhibition for a full day. This way you have the opportunity to make your visit even more effective by combining the conference and the exhibition in one day.
