LOPEC is very successful, attracting trade show and conference visitors every year from the industry’s various sectors. The mix of visitors is of very high quality. They come from all over the world, with more than half coming from abroad. Furthermore, the majority of visitors are decision makers.

These are the success figures of LOPEC 2022, which could be held live in Munich for the first time after 2019:

  • 158 exhibitors from 22 countries*.
  • More than 1,850 visitors from 36 countries, more than 800 of them also attend the LOPEC Conference.*
  • More than 180 conference presentations from 31 countries*.

The vast majority of the visitors were key decision makers: 86 percent stated that they had direct influence on the decisions made within their company. 99 percent of the visitors stated: The improtance of LOPEC persits or continues to grow. 97 percent intend to visit LOPEC again in 2023. Among exhibitors, this figure is even somewhat higher, as 99 percent plan to exhibit at LOPEC again in 2023.**

Top reason for attending: Establishing new business partnerships

The main purpose of LOPEC is to foster new potential business partnerships. At LOPEC 2022, which was able to take place on site and live again for the first time after 2019, it was important for both exhibitors and visitors to also develop existing business relationships. This was achieved particularly well at LOPEC 2022, with 93 percent of exhibitors and even 99 percent of visitors stating that they had achieved this goal excellently, very well or well.

LOPEC's unique strength is its comprehensive range, covering not only materials and manufacturing processes, but also applications, devices, and services. Trade fair participants very much value this broad selection of sectors.
