The Innovation Showcase presents new products and prototypes
The Innovation Showcase is always one of the special highlights of the trade fair. Here, fascinating prototypes and cutting-edge product innovations will be on display and presented and explained by specialists. The daily tours on the focus topics Smart Living and Mobility also pass by the Innovation Showcase. Smart Living—How printed electronics are changing everyday life
Facade shading element with semitransparent OPV
The demonstrator was developed in cooperation with IBA AG. It represents a facade element in which the darkening of the interior can be continuously adjusted by means of adjustable vertical blinds (consisting of organic solar modules). This can be done automatically via a light sensor or manually. For the demonstrator, semi-transparent OPV modules were clamped between glass panes and continuously measured outdoors for one season. For one product, the OPV modules were laminated between two panes of glass.
