Dr. Pälvi Apilo currently works with TactoTek as Director for Foresight & Research. TactoTek is a growth company that has developed and commercialized production methods and technologies for Injection Molded Structural Electronics (IMSE™). Before joining TactoTek at 2018, Dr. Apilo worked over 12 years in the field of printed and hybrid electronics at VTT and Fraunhofer ISE focusing on R2R printing and coating process development for thin film components and systems. Her responsibilities included also European, national and international contract and research project preparation, execution and management. She holds a PhD degree in Applied Electronics (Roll-to-Roll Printing and Thin Film Component Processing) and M.Sc. in Electronics Production Technology. Dr. Apilo has co-authored 16 peer-reviewed journal papers.
