It is shown that inkjet printing on hydrophobic substrates can be achieved through stacked coin strategy. This study identifies the printing regimes for stacked coin morphology on hydrophobic substrates, relating the effects of surface temperature, drop spacing and deposition rate. Regime maps will be discussed as how to practically implement this new strategy for printing on hydrophobic surfaces.
