Innovators don't always have it easy: As a startup or newly founded company, they have to gain a foothold in an agile business, establish their development sustainably and expand it in line with the market. And the best way to do that is internationally.

The Startup Area at LOPEC offers young entrepreneurs and innovative startups unique access to the global printed electronics community.
The Startup Area at LOPEC is a kind of joint stand in the middle of the exhibition. Here, participants have the opportunity to present their innovations to the LOPEC community. The all-inclusive startup package is available to startup exhibitors at a reduced price.
Conditions for participation
To book a booth package at the Startup Area, your company must meet the following requirements:
- legally independent and innovative
- Have existed for less than 10 years
- Have fewer than 50 employees

- Space, furniture and additional equipment per exhibitor:
- 4 m² exhibition space
- Carpet Rips 4 m² incl. protective foil, color anthracite
- 2 LED spotlights
- 1 triple socket, incl. consumption
- 1 bar table and 1 bar stool
- Printed plate for name/logo 150 x 30 cm
- Mandatory communication fee¹
- AUMA fee²
- mandatory waste disposal fee³
- Stand cleaning
- 2 exhibitor passes
- 100 free online day tickets for visiting the fair
¹ The mandatory communication fee includes the basic entry in all trade fair directories in accordance with Section B 10 Media Services, . In addition, the mandatory communication fee includes the year-round online presence of your company profile in the exhibitor directory.
² The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) charges all exhibitors a fee. That fee is invoiced by MMG and paid directly to AUMA.
³ Mandatory waste disposal fee is charged to cover the disposal of waste that accumulates at the exhibitor's stand during setup/dismantling and during the fair itself.

LOPEC Startup Competition & Award
The Startup Area is not the only platform for startups at LOPEC. In the LOPEC Startup Competition & Award young entrepreneurs and startups will present their innovative ideas, business and products in short, ten-minute presentations. The aim is to win partners and investors for their projects.
