OE-A Competition
OE-A Competition 2026
Are you a designer, or creative mind working with flexible and printed electronics? The OE-A Competition 2026 is now open—and we’re looking for your ideas, prototypes, and products!
Submit your innovation and get the chance to showcase it at LOPEC 2026, the leading event for printed electronics. We invite both members and non-members (scroll down for conditions of participation) of the OE-A to participate in one or more of the three different categories.
Join the competition, participation in the annual competition is open until the end of October.
The competition categories:
- Prototypes & New Products
- Freestyle Demonstrator
- Publicly-Funded Project Demonstrator
All entries will be displayed at the OE-A booth at LOPEC 2026 (February 24–26)—and are automatically in the running for the Public Choice Award, where visitors vote for their favorite project.
Why Participate? Visibility, Recognition & Networking
Joining the OE-A Competition comes with real benefits. All submitted projects will be featured at the OE-A booth during LOPEC 2026, giving you direct exposure to an international audience of industry leaders, researchers, and innovators. A special award ceremony at LOPEC – a moment to celebrate your success in front of the community. In April 2026, OE-A will host a dedicated web seminar, giving all winners the chance to present their projects to the global printed electronics network.
Participation Deadlines
OE-A invites all the community to participate by submitting the new product and/or prototype.

Web-Seminar
The OE-A will again organize a Web- Seminar for all winners in April 2026. In the Web- Seminar, the winners will have the opportunity to present their projects in detail and discuss them in a Q&A session.

Winner OE-A Competition 2025
From the automotive industry to healthcare and IoT: companies and institutes from all over the world have submitted their latest products and projects in the fields of flexible, organic and printed electronics for the OE-A Competition 2025. Conditions of participation for non-members of the OE-A
Please note that there are certain conditions for non-members of the OE-A to take part:
- Students who are unable to obtain all required materials could contact an OE-A member who produces the needed organic or printed electronics component and/or even propose a cooperation / partnership
- The category “Publicly Funded Project Demonstrator” – where participation is possible in cooperation with at least one partner. Please note that visibility is exclusive to OE-A members. We will refer only to OE-A members by name and their logos in all OE-A communication processes.
